Elevator of Wanzhold

The Elevator of Wanzhold was a grand, circular lift powered with gears that was between the five pillars of Wanzhold and moved by gliding along them. These gears were moved by a contraption that the local Guards pushed to spin. The spinning mechanism had a lock, whereby if it was released it stopped where it currently was at instead of falling down. It made mechanical sounds as it moved up and down.

Purpose / Function

To transport dali to and from Wanzhold, a town that was located above cavern ground level.

Alterations

The elevator was built to replace the large spiraling staircase (which were also inside the five pillars) cause it was really tiring to climb them.
