Barrek (bɒɾːɛk)

Barrek is the first Dali settlement built in the Underdark. It's mostly known for the notorious Black Market of Barrek, where many illicit goods are peddled. It's next to the Hellevator.

Demographics

Heavily mixed, anyone is welcome. Society is quite cutthroat down here, and Guards are either in someone's pockets or have trouble keeping order. Some even say that Barrek is the first dali town with Underdali living in it - a miniature experience of the Underdark.

Government

Ran by a small circle of Plutocrats. The inner circle is smaller than upstairs, and richer too.

Districts

There are three main districts: The Grounds - this is mostly where the Guards and Plutocrats can be found, it's the rich part of Barrek. The Slums - a poor district with loose oversight. The Market - the black market itself, mixed with legitimate stands.
