Éertaillin

A semi-organic, blue, crystal-like material that can be penetrated with flesh and things connected to flesh only. Then anything inside seems to be frozen in time. According to the words of Silassaril Mizzrym it's purpose is for binding and unbinding, but usually it's just used as a fancy container for the incredibly wealthy.

History & Usage

Discovery

Its discovery is linked to Silassaril Mizzrym, but traces of this strange material has been found scattered around some places during the Age of Civilization first. The Wizard was just the first person who had anything to say about the material, although it was clear that he was not revealing everything he knew.

Everyday use

An art piece and a fancy bag for things that rot away. There has also been a case of a Smuggler using it to carry small, exotic pets.

Industrial Use

Researchers see its main use as something that can preserve a creature or dali indefinitely. This can potentially be used to travel forward in time without aging.

Trade & Market

There is no supply for Éertaillin. Nobody knows where it's found or how it's mined. II. Aellevin Erralen was the last dali that found this material.

Storage

It can be stored anywhere, doesn't seem to be able to break easily.
