About

Appearance

Myr is on the shorter end of the height spectrum for Daitens, at only 6'7" tall. Ne is in shape, but not overly muscular. Ne's mostly gray with mossy turquoise covering nyr shoulders and upper back.

Myrddin will wear whatever style of clothing ne can get nyr hands on, mostly from nearby towns. If ne has a choice in the matter, ne'll go for warm, comfortable clothing in shades of green or blue. Ne always carries a journal.

Personality

Myr was always chatty, even in nyr earliest years. While working in , ne was happy to make conversation with anyone who entered, nyr excellent memory making nem a favorite with returning customers.

When the war broke out and Myr lost nyr brother, ne was despondent with grief for a while. Ne joined and threw nemself into the work, slowly gaining some joy back by doing something ne felt was productive.

After heaven fell, Myr grieved for a while before deciding to do something productive with nyr grief by creating a memorial of all that was lost in the war. Though ne still remains stuck on the past in many ways, ne's mostly returned to nyr friendly, chatty self; ne welcomes any travelers seeking shelter and listens to their stories.

Story

Myr's earlier years were marked most distinctively by nyr time working as a library assistant in . Ne loved reading stories and learning new things, as well as talking to those who visited the library. It was this cheerful, talkative attitude that earned Myr a friendship, and eventually a romantic relationship, with Persephone, a regular visitor to the library. They began dating shortly before the war broke out.

Myrddin opposed the war from the start, not necessarily understanding the animosity that'd been building between the Agma and the Daitens in the first place. Ne disliked the violence of it, and besides that, ne was close with many Agma nemself. Still, not having much to do with fighting or politics, Myr mostly stayed out of it, keeping to nemself in the library.

When ne suffered the loss of nyr brother Oisín—who died not in battle, but rather as collateral damage—Myr was overwhelmed by the grief of it. Ne hated the war and its cost more than ever, and when Persephone encouraged nem to join , ne saw the opportunity for what it was and accepted. Ne was determined now to bring the war to an end before it could lead to the destruction of heaven altogether. While working for the coalition as an ambassador, ne met Spectra again, whom ne had met before in more innocuous circumstances and become friends with. Spectra worked as Persephone's guard within the coalition, around her most of the time to keep her safe from those opposed to the coalition's work. After some time, the three of them became romantically involved.

In the moments before heaven fell, Myrddin, Persephone, and Spectra were all enjoying a quiet moment together working on coalition matters. That peace was interrupted by Cadogan, who entered unexpectedly with intent to kill Persephone—and potentially Myrddin—for their peace efforts. Spectra was unable to protect both of their partners; Cadogan killed Persephone just as heaven gave one final shudder and fell.

It seemed to take only a moment, and Myr found nemself suddenly alone on a foreign planet, Spectra and Persephone—and Cadogan, for that matter—nowhere in sight. For a while, it was unclear to Myr what exactly had happened, and whether Cadogan's assassination of Persephone had perhaps been the final straw causing heaven's collapse. Ne quickly found civilizations nearby and spent some time with the people there. Ne found kinship with them and quickly became part of their community, which helped nem begin to heal. With help from those in the towns, ne decided to build a home outside of town in the forest. Here, ne planned to start a library of sorts. It would serve as a shrine, a memorial to all who were lost in the war in heaven, both Agma and Daiten.

In the present, Myr lives in nyr small, cozy house and maintains the memorial shrine and its surrounding gardens. Ne has come across more Daitens in nyr time there, and loves to chat with them about their lives. All the information ne gathers makes its way into the records kept at the memorial. Ne will host anyone, regardless of species, who wanders nearby and wants a place to rest.
