Dawn Legion

The Dawn Legion is the powerful military of the Etherien Republic. Their main fort, Château de Genesse, is not far from the Etherian capitol of Drasier, and serves as their main place of training. Dawn Legion soldiers can be trained anywhere, and even be adopted into the army if deemed worthy by a Realmsguard or above, but to advance in rank one must spend four crossings training in the Chateau. From here, the High Daybreaker maintains the order of his troops and their current delegations.

Structure

The Dawn Legion is clearly divided between an offensive and a defensive side. Their defensive side trains soldiers to work as town guard. These town guard are known as Vedette, which are lead by a Shieldcaptain. A Shieldcaptain can only command at most a dozen Vedette, so larger towns would have a Realmsguard to watch over the Shieldcaptains.
On the other side, a soldier in the army of the Dawn Legion is called a Couparet, and is lead by a Swordcaptain. These Swordcaptains are lead by a Dawnsedge. They usually serve the Dawn Legion by fighting on their multiple frontiers, or by serving in what is known as the Seekers of Tomorrow and expanding Etherian borders into the unexplored territories.

Assets

The Dawn Legion has superior knowledge of battle strategy and the like. Their clerics are avid worshippers of Isanya, the Winged Goddess of Warfare and the Sun. Many of their higher-ranking members, and almost all Daybreakers, are angels born from her worship.
