Jenos Regal Idanian

Jenos Regal Idanian, was a famous explorer from his time, he helped and led countless adventures into the crystal caverns, and he is said to be the first man to reach The Dark of the Crystal Caverns.

Background

Early Childhood

Jenos, was but a boy when he interested himself with the deep caverns of Cyphirius. For days on end, he'd ponder what lay deep within those lustrous crystalline caverns. It had in that moment become his life long dream to venture deep and far into the caverns. Throughout his life, people would tell him that he was a mere foolish boy who wouldn't be able to accomplish anything. They said his dreams were unrealistic and unreasonable. Unachievable. He made it his life goal to prove them wrong.

Discovering the Steelroses

The next years of his life Jenos spent educating himself as best he could about the caverns and their many dangers. What little information he could gather from the public library of his hometown. He'd spend many nights there on his own, reading books on end. When he finally reached the age of 18, he decided to venture out to find people who shared his passion for the caverns and exploring. He then found it, The Steelroses, the explorerers guild, a smaller guild at the time, but it would slowly blossom into a greater alliance than anyone could have ever imagined. He joined the Steelroses, and took part in many adventures. He learned so much more in his years as a student of the guild. He saw so many new sights, no longer did rely on the words of a book to tell him how the world looked.

Discovering Bazka

As a now very integrated part of the Steelroses, he had been going on many expidition, especially ones that would cross the oceans. On one such journey with the team "Stained Steel", they were on a journey crossing the southern ocean from Ath, they had been sailing for a while and finally a member of the crew on the boat yelled "Land Ahoy!" the entire crew came rushing to the deck, especially Jenos who went to the front of the boat, almost leaning over the guardrail and almost falling off slightly but not entirely. He saw it come into view, and according to the maps they had aboard, this was undiscovered land. Once they finally set foot on the land, the land was filled with so much more nature than anyone could have expected, it was so gorgeous. The name Bazka would come along later for it's nature focus on the land, and being very lush.
Bazka finally was deemed new land on 40/5/1240 a few weeks after they had first discovered it. And with it the country of Lorea was founded and the city of Floralis would begin construction shortly after.

Discovering the Dark

The day finally came, as he had hoped. After years of being in the guild, he was the one leading an expidition of the team, "Rosegold", the top exploration team of the Steelroses. Jenos had become the leader of the team, after he was choosen by the leader of the Steelroses, Jeremi Alducin. Alducin had observed Jenos for many years, and seeing that Jenos always came back, piqued his interest in the young man. Alducin saw Jenos worthy of leading the squadrant Rosegold. Jenos accepted gladly, and on the 7/4/1247, he lead the Rosegold squadrant, on perhaps their most difficult expidition at the time. They spent many days decending, into the deep parts of the caverns. They squadrant was lucky to be able to find safe havens through their journeys into the deeper parts of the caverns. After 10 days of exploring, they found a new place that was unlike anything they'd seen. An oily black viscous area, that seemed near infinite, and so dark not even the sun could illuminate it. They noted it down, when out of nowhere, the squadrant was attacked by a creature of great size and strength. It was almost as pitch black as the area they found themselves in. Jenos commanded everyone to evacuate as quickly as possible. The few that made it out alive were traumatized to the point of insanity, but for some odd reason, Jenos remained sane, until the day he died. No one seems to know why. Everyone just believes, that he had a strong mind.
