Comodo Dragon Deli
Elderly couple Nazzareno and Carlotta Marietti have run the convenience store and deli in southeast corner of the 44 Armando building for decades. The name is a pun - “comodo” means “convenient” in Italian. (It was Nazzareno’s idea.)
The Mariettis own the building, and are thus the landlords for everyone who lives and works inside it. They are pretty great landlords, if a little bit nosy, and Carlotta just loves bringing tenants home-cooked treats in exchange for poking into their personal business in a very Italian-grandmother kind of way.
