Los Convocados

You discovered that the apartment of a presumed Paul Danforth had a hidden note referencing "Los Convocados" in an article on Latin American primitive Cults. The article states that Los Convocados principally are found throughout the southern parts of latin america and appear to be responsible for several attacks and murders on shipping vessels.
The other side of the note had a symbol made of several slashes in a five pointed star configuration of differing lengths, similar to some of the marks you found on Paul Danforth's bed in the asylum.
