Our intrepid explorers have found Lake's Camp, site of the disaster that befell the Miskatonic Antarctic Expedition - 1930. It appears that the official report filed by Dyer, and indeed the remainder of the team, has muddled the truth, obscuring the true breadth of the discovery under the ice and the horror that ended the life of so many of the expedition members.

With the aid of the BFE Ice Knives the Hangars were excavated, revealing a site of presumed dissection, but not of the strange creatures found but of man and beast. The discovery of one of the strange "animal forms" shocks the camp for it is clearly a living, though alien, being - one oddly reminiscent of the drawing found in Paul Danforth's sanitarium room.

Doctor Meyer's gift to Professor Moore exhausts the last of the man's restraint, he now demands that the mission across the Mountains of Madness occur with paramount haste. Acacia Lexington has already negotiated to allow passage to certain of the German members, and with the return of Starkweather tomorrow the expedition will finally move BEYOND THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS!!!!!!!!!
