Toxilus

Description

While a Toxilus seems to prefer living a solitary life, often Toxids will accompany and lair with it, seeking protection from larger crytures. Despite their obvious annoyance at this arrangement, Toxilus show a great deal of patience with their younger kin, simply shoving them aside with their tentacles if they get in the way. While other crytures tend to avoid their toxic lairs, Toxilus do have to leave their comfort zones to gather food occasionally. They sometimes will take the opportunity to ambush smaller crytures that they come across on these gathering sprees.

Combat

Thanks to their shells, Toxilus are quite comfortable in melee, in spite of their ranged focus. Their high defenses let them outlast foes, as they use debilitating blast powers to cripple and whittle down their health. If any Toxids are around, a Toxilus usually disregards them, unless it can gain an advantage from their positioning.
