Slugoop

Description

These crytures have been known to lead Slopeyes on surface excursions to abduct humans in the night, dragging them down to their subterranean lairs. Exactly what happens to the abductees is unknown, as no sign or remains of them have ever been found afterward. Sometimes Yorbs or Florbs accompany them on these raids, seeming to direct their actions.

Combat

Slugoops are still aggressive fighters, but more strategic than Slopeyes. They usually try to focus their attacks on a single enemy at a time, shifting to get flanking or terrain bonuses whenever possible. They will also be on the lookout for opportunities to engage ranged attackers and shut them down. When Yorbs or Florbs are present, they default to a defensive role to protect them.

Features

Engulf II

• This cryture can engulf objects and carry them inside of its own body. The objects stay inside the cryture, even while its crystallized.
• This cryture can engulf a willing person or cryture of its size or less as a minor action. While engulfed, they occupy the same space as this cryture, can't take actions, and can't be hit by attacks.

Shapeshift I

• This cryture can alter its shape to mimic simple forms and squeeze into tight spaces.

Super Strength

• This cryture can lift, carry, and break objects as if it is one size larger.
