Pupode

Description

These electrically charged rays are at home in many different environments, whether swimming in water, hovering about the fields, or drifting among the treetops. They do prefer habitats that are near water, however, as they require a good amount of moisture to stay properly hydrated. Besides their obvious combat applications, a Pupode's electric stingers are especially useful for hunting, allowing it to easily stun small carnids that may be hard to catch otherwise.

Combat

Pupodes act as rudimentary pack hunters when confronting other crytures or humans. They use their mobility and ranged powers to harass enemies first and foremost, only choosing to enter melee when forced to. From a good distance, they will try to focus fire on one foe at a time, before moving on to the next.
