Peepod

Description

Before morphing into Peepod, a Peepoi will use its clairvoyant powers to search out a safe place for it to rest and await its final stage. Other Peepoi will sometimes search them out to avail themselves of the Peepod's superior clairvoyance as a defense against predators. Some may gain a significant following of their younger kin, who seem to revere the Peepod as a kind of guru.

Combat

Like their younger forms, Peepods try to avoid melee combat whenever possible. Their Levitation feature makes this much easier, giving them the ability to hover outside of melee range. From above, they can pepper the enemy with ranged attacks and control effects to make things easier on their ground-based allies.

Features

Levitation II

Nightvision

• This cryture takes no penalties for being in darkness.

• Twice per day, this cryture or its conjurer may choose one die they've rolled. That die is treated as a natural 10.

Telepathy I

• This cryture can communicate nonverbally back-and-forth with its conjurer from any distance.
