Goolem

Description

A Goolem's body is filled with a corrosive slime that easily breaks down matter, even of a magical variety. While this makes the Cryture impractical for storage or transportation, like Claymin are used for, it opens up other uses. Namely, Goolem can be used as a way to recycle unwanted items, and salvage usable essences from the byproduct. These crytures seem to take pleasure in "eating" magic items as well, and have been known to try and consume unattended items if left unsupervised.

Combat

Goolem is an adaptable fighter, and can protect its charge in a variety of ways. Like Claymin, it's most effective in melee, where it can pin down foes and protect the back line. With the addition of the Spitter class, however, it gains the ability to lob attacks at approaching enemies, or target ranged fighters that it can't get to otherwise. It can also use the blast powers to burn through multiple foes without disengaging.

Magnivore

• This cryture can eat non-consumable magic items to regain 1 Mana per level of the item. It also produces 1 essence per level of the item as a byproduct. Roll on the cryture's loot table to decide which type of essence is produced.
