Glubble

Description

Glubbles are native to the Burning Isles, to the south of the continent of Veridan. They usually reside in seaside caves, or along the beach in dome-like nests made from wet sand. Sometimes they can be found on the interior of the islands, near ponds or lakes. They generally prefer to avoid humans and other Crytures, but will still become aggressive if they become annoyed. Archmage Lucas Loric brought a number of Glubbles back to the continent after his expedition to the Burning Isles was concluded. Since then, they've become common Crytures to give to conjurers who are just starting out.

Combat

A Glubble is primarily a tough melee combatant, with the ability to keep enemies engaged and high defenses to deflect hits. It has excellent mobility as well, making it good at giving flanking bonuses to offense-focused allies. If it ever gets in over its head, it can slink away and dish out ranged attacks from its Pressurized class powers.

Shapeshift 3

• This cryture can alter its shape to mimic simple forms and squeeze into tight spaces.
• This cryture can mimic complex shapes and gets a +2 roll modifier to Stealth rolls when using this feature to hide.
• This cryture can shapeshift into non-magic weapons and be wielded by human characters. Attack rolls made with such a weapon use this cryture's Strength in place of the character's talent.

Engulf 1

• This cryture can engulf objects and carry them inside of its own body. The objects stay inside the cryture, even while it's crystallized.
