Chiptera

Description

After metamorphosis, a Chiptera will start to take notice of how different it is from the rest of its pack. They often leave their adopted family to seek out others of their kind. If two Chipteras - or others in their family - meet up, they become fast friends and begin excitedly exchanging the vocalizations they've learned. After successive meetings, they usually end up visiting each other's adopted packs where they gain acceptance as easily as their new friend did. This can even lead to packs of different crytures combining, as the Chipteras take the lead and smooth out their differences.

Combat

Chipteras rely even more on pack tactics than their previous forms, preferring to gang up on enemies with pack mates. They will always look for opportunities to get flanking bonuses, and if none present themselves, they'll use whatever mobility powers they have to create such an opportunity. When they have allies from multiple cryture kinds, Chipteras will often fight in groups of three, with themselves and one cryture from both of the other kinds ganging up on foes.
