Anatomy

The Crystal Beetle is a small bug-like creature. It has six legs and is not very big. They are colored either a light pink or black, depending on whether they have recently fed on a crystal.

Ecology and Habitats

They usually live in caves, mostly the ones surrounding the Crystal Cavern. Sometimes they can be found in cities feeding off of people's Crystal Spheres.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They feed off of the Crystal energy emitted from the crystals in the Crystal Cavern.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

The pink variety are found mostly in the Crystal Cavern and surrounding cave systems, but can be found in cities feeding off of people's Crystal Spheres. The black variety can be found living on top of the Crystal Mountain.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

They have very bad eyesight, but can perceive crystal energy fairly well.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Their bodies are either a light pink or black, depending on whether they recently fed on a crystal. They also emit a faint light of their body color if they are pink.
