The patches of land unsuitable for agriculture are home to facilities processing foods and fabricating all the items used by the citizens of the Core Worlds and beyond.

Galahad is the sword; with drydocks the size of dwarf planets, is the seat of the Imperial military and navy. Its humble ring system is host to numerous gun platforms, advanced sensors and ship repair facilities. The brunt of the imperial navy was destroyed in the great war, but Galahad's massive subterranean factories had replenished their naval strength within 10 years, an unprecedented accomplishment and a stark reminder of why the Empire is still the galaxy's top-dog.
