22xx Wyvern-class Locomotive

Wyvern-Class locomotives are 2-6-2 express steam locomotives designed to haul passengers. They are run only on the Sonsbury Railway, and are primarily used to deliver passengers to and from Copperpeak along the mainline and major branches.

Construction and Design

Ten of these locomotives have currently been manufactured. Each is named after a variety of the legendary Wyverns they were named after, and their liveries are remniscent of the extinct beasts. They were designed by the gnome Silas Silverous, one of the top locomotive engineers, shortly before the discovery of the Great Mines. All but the Silver Wyvern were created after the Great Mines were founded, as the stark increase in resources and demand for wider transportation provided a major boost to the railway companies.

Each locomotive has a livery matching its name, with Copperpeak-Brown lining and numbers, with the exeption of 2208 and 2210, which are lined in Sonsbury Black.
