HERITOR: Adonis Bronzeheart

As Adonis struck his hammer on the anvil one last time for the night, he looked over at his son clinging to what was left of the fire. A war hero turned blacksmith for the Roman army, Adonis was a master of his trade.   Adonis left the Roman army after finding his wife in the campaigns in the Baltics. He picked up blacksmithing, but and was able to provide a comfortable life for his family...As the great snows hit earlier in the winter, Adonis’s home collapsed taking his wife with it. Adonis bought a shed with the rest of his savings to keep his boy warm during the winter and prayed to the gods for fortune.   Adonis placed his hammer down and turned to his son as the door blew opened. A short old man came in, carrying a cracked staff. “I heard you were the best, and I need this fixed. I am a merchant from Thebes who heard about you abilities both on and off the field of war. If you fix my staff, I can offer you part of a prize worth far more than the cost of the staff.”   needless dialogue   Adonis looked over at his son as the first spring sun rose. The merchant from thebes and Adonis set out to the docks, Adonis desperate to return with an answer of a brighter future he promised to his boy.
