The Elite's origin

The elite is an organisation that was originated by 3 men that came together with the belief that they would best be able to protect and rule the people within the country. Each of them had a different skill set as one was a knight that had fought in many battles and was often seen as the bravest warrior second only to the king. The second was an academic that was an advisor to the king, he knew all of the types of magic and history that effected the civilisations. The third was a healer who claimed to be able to perform lifesaving magic and science that would save any life. The three of them together took over the king that they claimed was ill-equipped to best serve his people, after a long time gained their forces and supporters, they faced the king and challenged his leadership.   At the time of the change many people thought that the elite was a rebel organisation that wanted to harm people and destroy the cities that they had already established. Whilst many of the king’s people fought for him to stay in power, the battles drew on too long and the fragile government fell leaving only the king to abdicate before he was dethroned. Eventually when all the ruling bodies were removed and replaced the people settled down and started reaping the benefits of the new rulers.   With them the elite brought schools that allowed everyone to learn the basics of magic and how it can help them, they also learnt to best survive the harsh conditions and be thankful to the earth. But it wasn’t all good, whilst the elite were teaching everyone basic magic, they were instilling fear that complex magic was bad and only magic they’d been taught in schools should be trusted. Whilst talking about the fear that should be had of magic, they were removing any information on complex higher magic from institutions and cities down even to a cookbook that had too much magic in it. Whilst this did teach the masses about safe magic it also meant that they had control over them as magic allowed people a certain amount of freedom to create and control their surroundings, without the ability to do they had to look to their leaders for this help.
