Leytographer

With the world literally having been upheaved, an initial adjustment period was necessary, but the most entrepreneurial of them would focus on adjusting via opportunity.   From arcane-based construction to regional militias to transportation, there were new markets emerging everywhere.   Once word of Ley Blood seeped into the populous, it became a point of focus. Those most boldly trying to make a name for themselves were the Leytographers.   These adventurers had both ambition and a deathwish. They would venture into the impact sites and locate concentrations of ley energy, what the Ley Bleed had come into contact with, how it changed, and whether there was harvesting opportunities. One could then soak it up with specific instrumentation and transport it in lead, or runed, vessels. All the meanwhile keeping oneself alive from whatever new threat may have been born of said Ley Bleed.   The Penta Caelum swiftly decreed that Ley Bleed would be a restricted substance and that it could only be gathered for sanctioned research as to minimize the chances of things getting out of control. This meant that the value of such substance on any black market was premium. That meant that Leytographers were either employees of the Wizards, black market specialists, or both.   Teams would be built around them to allow them to do their jobs. The more reliable or skilled the Leytographer was to eliminate the necessity for other team members, only meant a bigger cut for him or her.     The position was so popular that it became a piece of local folklore.  The wizards were foremost respected and feared, but the youth of Creatos were in awe of the rugged bravery and audacity the position of a Leytographer carried.
