Ley Blood

After The God Hand vanished, the residual ley energy did not flow as it normally does, but rather, dispersed into the topography around each impact site.   Given each nation's predictable response to this event was to focus on the immediate effects of their own nation and what to do next, the Ley Blood was not investigated very quickly, but it took effect quickly. Very quickly.   Lingering like metaphysical fog, it seeped into anything it could. The flora and fauna began to react to it in strange ways. Mutations and rapid growths were the first observable changes. Others took longer to manifest.  The Ley Blood could penetrate the fabric of space and reality if given even the smallest of tears.    Regions such as Pollex (Thumb) and Annulary (Ring) were the first regions to express visible changes. Pollex, birthing an enormous thermally heated fresh-water sea, saw exponential growth as the ley-infused steam rose only to be absorbed by the newly-growing vegetation, which was in turn consumed by adjusting creatures and insects. While Annulary, brought a similar new sea's nourishing tide to the arid region of the East. The tide brought the energy to the soils of the downstream delta that has since formed, which in turn birthed verdant farmland with bountiful, exotic crops.   Eventually all the digital strike-points were explored at some capacity. Some were not as fortunate to be granted a boon to their neighbor. Some strikes devastated the lands of others, bringing terrors that would be folded into folk lore for generations to come.   Once the Ley Blood was discovered, rumors of its capabilities spread faster than wildfire, regardless of validity. The only reasonable response to learning of this reagent for dramatic change was obvious...   How does one harvest it?
