The Face Wars / First Yhivan Gun Wars

Yhivan Face Wars  , also known as the Wars of Yhivan Unification, or The (first) Gun Wars, were a series of conflicts in the Gisha River and Delta that ultimately saw the Yhivan city states united under the Salamandas Dynasty, and also included the conquest of several Ropog settlements, notably Kairn and Illen.
The Salamandas dynasty, under exarch Amato Salamandas, began investing in Brass Dragon , a type of hand cannon, and was quickly able to incorporate them in their armies. The heavy armor that had become common in Adellonian warfare since the The Adellonian Mysterectomy Campaign  was practically worthless against firearms, and Yhivi Yon-Gisha quickly conquered and consolidated power over the entire Gisha Delta, establishing themselves one of the primary powers in the Post-Convulsive era.
