Martial Traning in Adellon

Want to become a master swordsman/archer/warrior-type in Adellon? Depending on where you are, there are different opportunities available:

-Ishi Plateau
- The second legitimate child of nobility are sent to Ush Uw monasteries for their education. Many Ishi elf fighters, and rangers spent time at an Ush Uw, and those who choose to stay become clerics, paladins, and monks.
- Commoners of any race might join The Tzek, mercenary bands who offer an escape from serfdom and make the majority of Ishi army troops. Tzek who show promise might be promoted to centurion and given specialized training in The Kesh Forest and The Empty, known for creating excellent quality troops of all martial classes.
- Rare bands of proto-Ropog, indigenous tribes of humans and halflings still live high in the northern mountains are said to have preserved warrior traditions from long before Elfin contact.
- Finally, orphans in Ishi are said to be recruited into an elite nameless assassin order who serve Ishi's rulers .

-Tavts
- The post Convulsion Day  instability in the region has made most Tavti people pretty familiar with combat. Tavti traditions of tutelage largely died alongside Tavti literacy, but warrior training is still highly sophisticated. There are teachers who preach The Old Ways, which reject weaponry almost entirely and tend to also focus on spiritual attainment, and teachers of The New Ways who have not at all concerned with either.
- Tavti raiders are, by their third raid, necessarily excellent at surviving combat, be it through strength, dexterity, or trickery, even without formal training.

Kemper :
- Any doma large enough to hold territory on their almost certainly has its own retinue of warriors. Some domas train their own troops, some domas exist mainly as warrior schools for Kemper and beyond.

Yhivi areas :
- For the most part, if you want to be a martial fighter in Yhivi, your options are either to learn how to operate a brass dragon or to go somewhere outside other than Yhivi, somewhere where people know how to fight well, and ask them for training. That said, if you want to learn to operate and maintain a brass dragon Yhivi trains troops who, since The Second Gun Wars  are the most feared troops across Adellon.
