Loch na Suil

Geography

Largest lake in al of Caledon (Region). Formed at the conclusion of the 2nd Battle of Moytura when Balor, having been killed, fell forward to the ground and his Baleful Eye blasted away rock, earth, and trees creating the massive crater that would later fill with water and be called the Lake of the Eye.

Fauna & Flora

It appears there had been an underground sea nearby that drained into the crater and began the filling of the lake. For many years aquatic horrors from the underground lake plagued any ships sailing upon it. These horrors have since died off and are thought of as superstition by most that now travel the waters.

Natural Resources

Surrounded by fertile plains and the Torrin Forest to the north. The Shield-Maiden mountains are rich in minerals and gems that are normally found much deeper beneath the surface of Cré.
