She is fairly new to the Company, but knows the ropes and is in good standing. She quit working as a marine after an accident at sea left her traumatized. Currently comissioned to protect and aid Government-sponsored scientist Nochtli Quecholli in her missions to the Southeast. Occasionally commisioned by the Company as a mercenary, although she doesn’t usually know why.

On her last assignment, some machinery backfired and caught aflame. Shrub got sent off first lifeboat because she wasn’t a sailor proper, Serafina (her long-time crush) stayed behind because she was an engineer. From a distance, Shrub watched as ship’s cargo (machinery) exploded, and saw red mist and body parts floating about. She was shocked mute. After reaching port, Shrub vowed never to form such bonds again. A few days later, Serafina turned up, gravely injured but alive - Shrub stayed at her side until she was stabilized, then left without explanation.

Strongly affiliated with Tezcatlipoca. Believes wholeheartedly that he truly wants the best for all, and his philosophies are the best way to achieve this. Deeply respects his clerics and institutions, however, according to Tezcatlipoca’s teachings, is ready to abandon them in an instant should it seem they are becoming more detrimental than helpful or straying from his will. Shrub worships daily and does her best to live according to his principles.
Shrub believes other gods of the Teozalo pantheon exist, suspects the gods of other faiths exist also but has not seen solid proof yet.
