Personal history
Azula grew up in her tribe which was part of the material world but contained no other kinds of humanoids. When she turned 100 her tribe's home was burned by an attack from the undead. She escaped thanks to priests of the Costani - Religion. Being thankful to the new caretakers she's adopted their faith as her own, after a minor stint as a thief. She is a true believer in Astra Lee the Godess of the Costani.
Education
She not completely educated but she learned a little bit from dealing with Costoni Priests. So while she is able to read, she is not able to fully read common. She does know her holy texts inside and out, but not being able to read them, she committed them to memory instead.
Employment
She is a Deacon for the Costani religion.
