Seven Spheres of Celestia

Celestia is a Lawful Good aligned plane with gravity and physics similar to the Material Plane. It has six inhabited planets orbiting the same star. The "seven spheres" of its name refer to these six planets and their sun, Chronias.  The planets are as follows, from the sun outwards:
  • Lunia, a tidally locked water world inhabited only on the night side. Its gravity is low and the winged trumpet archons fly between the islands that poke above the waves. On the daylit side, the direct heat of the sun vaporises water, filling the air with clouds.
  • Mercuria, a warm planet towards the inner edge of the habitable zone with a golden sky. Its mountains are tall and jagged, the leonine sword archons building their cities on high plateaus where the air is thin.
  • Venya, a place of rolling hills and verdant countryside beneath a pearly-white sky. Much of the land area is dedicated to growing crops, both to feed the herbivorous warden archons and for export, primarily to Lunia and Jovar.
  • Solania, a planet wreathed in fog and mist. The winged tome archons build their cities and observatories high in the mountains, above the permanent cloud cover. Solania's main export is ores and minerals.
  • Mertion, a high-gravity planet with flat plains stretching out beneath a silver sky. It is the home planet of the hound archons, who construct massive black domes beneath which their population can retreat in case of invasion.
  • Jovar, glittering with precious and semiprecious stones. The civilisation of the native throne archons is centred around a many-tiered ziggurat which is the locus of their religious worship.
