XA MBR
The MBR was a semi-automatic battle rifle chambered in 6.6x52mm. The rifle had a 10 round magazine.
The stock featured a cutout reinforced by steel. Each rifle came with a suppressor.

History

The MBR, short for Main Battle Rifle, is the first and main rifle built on Tiann for the Talopi Xonod Army to be equipped with during the Tianni Civil War. It was built by Xonod Armory.
It was built around the Sheebaum Armoury Services 1101 Survival Rifle. The stock and handguard were replaced with wooden ones made of Tianni Krixtau wood. The sights were upgraded with a toggle sight and illuminated front post for longer target acquisition, while the barrel was extended for farther ranges. Finally, the inner workings were upgraded to be more resistant to the humidity of the planet, at the expense of rate of fire.
It's small magazine, slow rate of fire, inability to accept optics and complicated cleaning procedures made in unpopular among soldiers, who often exchanged their MBRs for weapons discarded by fallen soldiers on the other side.

Significance

The MBR was a common sight during the Tianni Civil War.
