Naleedite
Naleedites are an ethnic group primarily found in Naleed and western Litticala. They speak the Naleedic and share a common culture. There were once several dozen Naleedite tribes, but over time, these were absorbed and combined into the four that exist today: the Sheer, the Harbi, the Tal, and the Mamari.
Four Tribes, One People
The Sheer tribe originate in eastern Naleed and western Litticala, between the Serpenti and Cistrelles mountain ranges.Naming Traditions
Family names
Naleedite surnames contain two elements: a tribe name and a family name. Within a tribe, a Naleedite will only use their family name as tribal affilliation is implied. In all other circumstances, the tribal name serves to differentiate between similarly-named families in other tribes.
For example: Nasrin Tal-Vet and Siran Vet-Sheer both have the family name "Vet", but they are from different tribes.

Major language groups and dialects
Though dialects and accents may vary from tribe to tribe, nearly all Naleedites speak Naleedic. The spread of Temporalism has helped to ensure literacy and fluency in the language.
The Sheer tribe in Western Litticala speaks Kelam, which developed from a Naleedic-Calan pidgin. However, Kelam has not spread back to Naleed, and most Sheeric tribesfolk also speak Naleedic.
