Family names

Harbic surnames take different forms depending on context. Among other members of the Harbi tribe, surnames are monosyllabic. Outside of the tribe, these names take the suffix -Harbi to differentiate between similarly-named families in other Naleedite tribes.
Example: Sharif Ban-Harbi is a member of the Ban family in the Harbi tribe.

The Harbi tribe speaks standard Naleedic. Many are also well-versed in Charyan, due to the tribe's proximity to the Charyan border.
