Amadeo dolo Mireu

Amadeo dolo Mireu is a veteran Watch Keeper of the City Watch in Coromare.
While noble families typically do not serve the City Watch, the Mireu family swore an oath shortly after the founding of the watch that one of their sons would always serve. This usually fell to a younger son, but when Amadeo's brother Felice died of Long Moon Fever in 488 GE, Amadeo was forced to take on the task in his place.
Amadeo has served on all four of the patrol watches, beginning with Day Watch. He was transferred to Night Watch in 493 GE, then re-assigned to Evening Watch in 499 GE when the shift was decimated by a particularly bad outbreak of Long Moon Fever. He applied for Command of the Evening Watch in 506 GE, but was not selected. Instead, he was transferred to Fourth Watch a year later. After sixteen years on patrol, Amadeo was re-assigned to Gate Watch in 507 GE, serving at Marshgate. He is still called on to mentor young Watch Keepers on their early watches due to his extensive experience.
