Mount Embers
The largest urban center in all of Continental. Also the capital of the most wealthy and technologically advanced human nation. The city shares its name with the volcano it sits in, though to refer to the city specifically humans have invented other names.
As the capital city of The Confederation of Inovation the city is very technologically advanced compared to the rest of Continental. It also has enormous amounts of wealth among its population, lots of important people live here.
Demographics
75/25 humans and fairies. The Fairies are all the same breed, born of the volcano before it went extinct. But since the mountain still existed the fairies stuck around. Humans govern and generally sit higher on the ladder, but the fairies can still influence things.
Defences
set inside the caldera of a massive long dead volcano, the entire city is surrounded by defensive rings of rock. There are thousands of underground tunnels and catacombs underneath the city which honeycomb the ground and mountain side.
Guilds and Factions
The alchemists advance the scientific knowledge in their medical based way. The Inventors advance scientific knowledge through the invention of new technology.
