Ying Wei

Ying Wei is settlement of Wei Dynasty, a empire rising in the east.
Ying Wei was the first settlement by Wei Dynasty in Craterium and it has so far been the only one. It has not yet shown any aggression in expansionism, but has been important in geopolitical discussions and agreements with different city-states.   Ying Wei is shining example of Wei style in land of Craterium. Beautiful emerald green buildings, expensive silk and plenty of fancy and exotic flora and fauna brought from the mainland. Stepping to Ying Wei territory is akin to visiting small piece of Ninchan itself.

Government

Wei Dynasty has chosen a governor and diplomat to bring their will to Craterium and keep the city of Ying Wei going on its daily businesses.

Defences

The settlements is well-covered by thick woods and counter-measures has been built to stop attackers, such as moat that surrounds the settlement. Bamboo has been used to built palisade around the most important parts of the city along with stone walls protecting strategic positions.

Industry & Trade

Ying Wei's main trade is selling Wei products and craftsmanship to different city-states in Craterium. 
Wei Dynasty is especially interested in metalwork from Craterium as its steel and iron easily beat that found in Ninchan.

Infrastructure

Ying Wei is mostly based around wood structures, especially bamboo based constructs for its sturdiness. The craftsmanship is fine quality with all of the houses following similar styles to make for unified looking front. They also use strange paper doors for some of their doors inside homes.

History

The first Wei settlement on Craterium, founded in 3073 EF. The first city-state they had any contact with was Fourways

Architecture

Wooden buildings with bamboo used as material often, paper also used as decorative element, especially indoors.
Preference for green colour in furniture and decorations, jade statues especially in high demand.
Strange stone gardens in most plazas and house of wealthy citizens.

Geography

The settlement is built on more swamp-lands of the continent, making for defensible and fertile terrain, but having its own dangers and troubles. Travel by foot is possible, but usage of boats is highly suggested.
