Fourways
The City-State of Fourways is a sprawling, mercantile city-state ruled by Merchant King who keeps charge of city's financial and political situations.
Fourways was built in crossroad of four rivers by group of merchants from other nations, wanting to have new trading hub in the continent of Craterium.
Fourways is a beautiful city with rich cultural history in arts, especially music and theater thanks to wealthy patrons. Many traveling troupe and theater finds themselves staying long in the city, sometimes even setting up their own branch.
Best way to get around in the city is to use the different canals and waterways by either jumping onto the public boats or hiring yourself your own personal boatswain to take you around the city and the different districts. City of Fourways is split into four different districts. The South River: The South River is the living area for most of the city's population with high-rise buildings made of stone, made to last and stand tall. These buildings can pack in many people, each of them living in their own apartments by themselves or their families. More affluent and well-off people might even have whole floors for themselves. The West River: Western entrance to the city and where most of the shop happening with southern continents happen. This district has also diplomatic housing for visitors from other nations. West River is home of some of the more influential people in the city and most well-off shops as well. The North River: North River is home of the entertainment district of the city. From illegal gambling and fight-clubs to high-class theaters and cabarets. North District is also one of the district with least guard patrols, thanks to its seedy nature, but that's how people enjoy it. A good drink on the town, a brawl and maybe somebody warm to cuddle up with for the night. The East River: Home of the Ninchan immigrants and diplomats. Houses the second largest population of Wei Dynasty citizens on the continent after Ying Wei.
Fourways and Wei Dynasty have been on good terms since GreatCityWar
