Finality

The Finality is a faith held by some Cadrithic Peoples, most commonly orcs, dragonborn, humans, and dwarves, but across all heritages.

The Finality is characterised by the idea of proving oneself against fate, to enforce the right to exist. This often manifests like selfishness or antagonism, and extremists of the Finality can easily fall into this category, but more tempered Finalists are prided on their supportiveness and honest criticism. The core element of the Finality is the constant strive for perfection and to validate your life, which is often compared to the idea of a self-sharpening knife. The concept is that you prove your own right to live, and by living, continue to prove your life against all the external forces that oppose life. Devout Finalists can often take a violent approach to this, culminating in both verbal or physical duels to prove their superiority - for Finalists, no matter the means of justification, success is endorsement from fate itself that you are right.

Finalists are often expressive and passionate about their beliefs, as well as often being ruthless - but even this comes from a place of compassion. A Finalist craves challenge, and will often seek to challenge other people, Finalists or not, to encourage them to impose their will on the world around them. If a Finalist is defeated in some way, they often react with joy and come back again for more, like a glutton for punishment. To some of the most extreme Finalists, even death is to be welcomed and embraced, as it can only be because of the will of fate itself that they are bound to die.
