Southern California Pack Alpine Development
After the California Fae Wars there were very few werewolves still welcome in the Western part of the United States. One of the only packs to have settled in under fae approval was the Southern California Pack. The pack itself only consists of about twelve wolves and a few of them that have families and the majority of them live together in a small group of homes around Alpine, California. This development is on one large plot of land with the main Pack House that serves the entire community and where nearly half of the pack lives and four single family units peppered throughout the property. There are several outbuildings for their associated ranching business and a large garden. They have, for the most part, lived there quietly and happily, away from much scrutiny or concern.
In 2003, the Cedar Fire which spread through the region burned down several neighborhoods. The only structure left standing was the garden shed attached to the main Pack House Unfortunately, the werewolves' homes were a small handful of the ones that were destroyed in the fire, including their small ranching operations upon which a few of the families relied for food and income. While the pack could have potentially packed up everything that survived and moved to another area within the territory, they were still financially struggling after their previous group of houses were burned in the Laguna Fire in 1970.
Thankfully, the Association of Bachelor Werewolves was able to commit to fundraising with their worldwide reach and the pack was able to secure the funds to rebuild their homestead fairly quickly.
