The Battle at Tower Bridge

-Tower Bridge Location-London, United Kingdom. Description- Door made of stone estimated 213 feet tall, 200 feet wide. Depictions on Door are fantasy with serpent creatures, sea creatures to include large fish and octopus, with a central depiction of what seems to be a dragon spewing water.
Incident Log- 

• 1235: Door found in water in front of Location. No claims to ownership or reason of being.
•  0100: Police notified and investigation began.
• 0150: Police report nothing on knowledge of the Door, description has been given above.
• 0200: Police have alerted government and begun sectioning the bridge off, shores included in case of terrorist threat.
• 0230: Military have appeared and taken control of situation, covering the reported, Door. They have restricted access to the construct and requested police assistance in calming public and warding off onlookers.
• 0300: Military investigation continues.

• 00600: Morning traffic diverted, Door cannot be moved and is still under investigation.
• 0615: Onlookers line up to glimpse Door, police attempt to remove them calmly.
• 0620: The veil around the Door has been lifted, Military survey as Door begins to hum and open both sides (double doors). Water rushes out of Door and begins to raise the water level of the River Thames. Military flushed out, casualties unknown.
• 0628: Creatures unknown begin are seen to exit the Door entering the river, public watch in awe unsure what to do.
• 0700: Information of the last 30 minutes has been restricted, casualties unknown.
• 0730: Government panic ensues and request for assistance has been broadcast to other countries.
• 0800: No response from other countries, Area evacuated and state of emergency set.
• 1000: No information from previous hours found. Countries that have responded and sent help: United States, Russia, France, Japan. Help includes individuals found to have strange abilities and hopefully able to to assist in issue. Information on individuals is restricted and cannot be listed.

The Conflict

Deployment

A team of people have been brought together from the countries listed in the report. These individuals have come to be called Divers are tasked with entering the area and removing it of the enemies found throughout, a secondary team of military personnel are tasked to join with them to secure the area and rescue any survivors found.

Battlefield

This incursion was fought in the streets of London, leading to the Tower Bridge. It was held in an urban setting but those tasked were ready to enter the river as well and deal with enemies there.

Conditions

Entering the area the team reported feeling damp and weighed down by the pressure, it has been found with the Opening of the Door, the environment changed to fit the inhabitants that now exited it and threatened the city.

The Engagement

The first engagement was in a pastry shop several miles out of the destination, a large creature the size of a bull was found eating the baker who owned the shop. This creature looked to be a large octopus with chitinous tentacles with hooked barbs underneath with the suction cups, the baker would have died to the venom with no realization. Moving on, the team would engage with targets similar to the first encounter, each as familiar and alien as the last.

Outcome

Once the team had reached the target destination, Location of Incident in Report, they had found it unable to closed normally and proceeded to secure the area while awaiting further orders and backup.
The final push in attempt to deal with the Door was to send the initial team into it to see if their was a mechanism on the other side to close it. The environment found on the other side were alien and deadly as it opened into an underwater realm with walls of coral and bone, the monsters found inside were as dangerous as they were outside but now they fought in their environment. Hours came and went before the team returned in rough conditions to report all monsters were defeated and the Door closed soon after.

Legacy

As the first Door appeared, it shocked the world with how dangerous it could be if there were more, leading to the popularity of the first Divers and the need for more.

Technological Advancement

Within the Door at Tower Bridge, a research team was quickly sent in after the initial team reported the death of all living inside. There materials were recovered to include coral, monster corpses, and other items not included in this report.
