Diver Guilds

Introduction

Guilds are organizations recognized by the government of their country and the Association to be able to openly deal with Doors and collect resources from them and distribute them however they like. These recognized guilds are who mobilize their teams to be able to tackle stronger Doors and defend the public from any rogue monsters spawning from the Openings. With the fact that they deal with stronger and deadlier Doors, they also contract Divers and pay them for participation not just what they kill and collect when working outside of a Guild. Because of this way of making money many people try to raise their rank in order to apply or be scouted for popular and professional guilds so that they can earn fame and money.

Requirements

Many things go into making a guild and one of them are being recognized by both the government and the Association. To be recognized by the government of a country is to sign a binding contract that states the guild will be able to mobilize and defend the country in times of need such as rogue monsters or possible a scenario with rogue Divers though in either case it is the guilds responsibility to adhere to the binding of oath and take up arms against an impossible threat to normal citizens and military. This is the agreement made between professional guilds and the government, the requirements for the Association's recognition is that the Guild Master be a Diver that passes several tests to prove that they are capable of handling an organization of Divers, these tests are both physically and mentally tiresome needing the Diver to pass written exams and prove themselves against the Association's proctor. After the tests have been evaluated, the results deem whether the hopeful guild master would be recognized or not.

Benefits

Guilds are organizations, businesses at heart and to be that they deal in the Doors and the vast resources they provide such as the cores found in monsters and their parts when skinning and butchering them, there are also crystals and items found there that can be auctioned off or used to make the guild that much stronger. The Doors that guilds are allowed to reserve through the Association are of ranks C and above, leaving the lowest ranked threats for the Association to deal with by allowing the weaker hunters to perform their duties. These Higher ranked Doors can be both deadly and rewarding so the guild will usually split their Divers into teams and organize hunting parties and collecting teams to be able to efficiently clear a Door.       There are a lot of Divers who cannot be a part of Doors simply because they lack usefulness and are of a lower rank, this does not stop many people from striving to grow stronger and throw themselves at Doors in order to be seen by the larger guilds and be chosen, many becoming minor celebrities dependent on the public and earning plenty of recognition and money for both themselves and the guild they are a part of. This is also a common thing for those celebrities who have become Divers and joined guilds making even more problems for the public affairs department.

Structure

In every guild there exists a Guild Master and a Vice Guild Master but everything below that is separated into different divisions much like a company though the amount of them vary between larger and smaller guilds. These divisions include at least one to organize Dives, one for the recruitment and training of Divers, another for the management of a guild's resources and funding, and even a division for public affairs if the guild has received attention in new and media.

Assets

All guilds have access to Association resources and dependent on government contracts, are able to share resources with them.
