Halo System

Type: System   Population: 370 Million   System, and Sub-System Population: 1 Billion   Ruling House: Spartan   Lord: John Spartan   Culture: Old Blood   History: The Halo Star System is one of the oldest settled systems in the Dragon’s Head Nebula. Home to one of the petty Tutha Kingdoms which made up the Dragon’s Head Nebula at the time of the Fabian Conquest, they ruled star systems in what is now considered the Anchorage, Bloom, Brighthold, and Furia Sectors.   When the Fabian Nebula launched their conquest of the Drala, they had reached the Halo Star System by 2,466 ASU, and by 2,478 ASU it had become the tribal capital of the Tutha under the Fabians, and begun to slowly develop with a large Fabian garrison. The Fabians would build the Star Fortress of Tyrfing in 2,798 ASU.   After the Fabian Withdrawal of Drala in 6,420 ASU the Star System was abandoned by large sections of its population, but some remained as the Old Blood Furse began to conquer nearby star systems.   The Halo Star System would fall under the control of the Kingdom of Warwick for much of it’s history under the Old Blood Furse, but like most star systems of Anchorage would be a contested warzone between the various warring kingdoms. In 7,138 ASU King Autumn Redmane Aegis of the Kingdom of Warwick established a Bishopric. He would appoint the first Bishop two years later.   The Bishop of Halo would flee the Star System in 9,040 ASU in fear of the Furse threat of the Great Savage Host, and several raids into the system. By 9,054 ASU the star system was in the hands of the Furse. It would later be recaptured by the Old Blood, with the formation of the Commonwealth of Drala, and for a time be seen a member, and strong ally of the Eight Systems.
