Túron Avácsh

Túron Avácsh first of his name, son of Aywin, is a Blood Elf born to the Royal House Avácsh. Formerly Lord King of the Iiauskana Kingdom, Túron spends most of his days wandering around as a freelance knight to the People, as well as reading up on and researching any information on the mysterious Centaurs and a position they called the Herald of Time, a position that Túron himself seems to have now.   By his twenty-first birthday, Túron enlisted into the Elven Army as a front line swordsmen. In the late winter of 3A-1084, just one year after joining the army and taking his oath of allegiance, Túron was sent to the Forbidding Desert to help reinforce the Nomadic militia in their fight against the rebels of Shien. After ten years in the desert, Túron received word that his father had died and that his brother, Tyrael Avácsh, had abdicated the throne. By Elven law, Túron was next in line for the Green Throne of Avalon. Túron never wanted the title of Lord King and even before returning to Iiauskana he himself also considered abdicating, but he knew better. If Túron abdicated too, then by common Elven law, his uncle, Ciliren Lananil would be appointed Lord King. Túron loved his country too much to give it to that tyrant. So it was on the eve of Maius the 24th 3A-1094, that Túron Avácsh was crowned Lord King of Iiauskana.   In the early years of his rule, Túron faced great hardship and grief. For his first ten years Túron had to work hard to hold Iiauskana together after his uncle’s uprising. In the mist of this he had to deal with a more personal matter, the death of his five-year-old son, Syvis. Túron and his wife grieved over the loss of Syvis for some time, but after twenty years they were ready for another child. By 3A-1124, Lord Prince Ellisar, was born. It was also by this time that Túron had defeated his uncle and brought peace to Iiauskana.   By the mid-1130s of the third age, Túron did what no other Lord King or Elf for that matter had done in Elven history. He opened Iiauskana up to outside residences. A decision that was followed by a great distrust from among the elven council.   For the next several decades, things stayed rather quiet with Túron’s influence growing all over Iiauskana. Relations with other lands were also much improved, even the Arcadians started to change their views of the Elven People because of Túron’s leadership.   Shortly after the siege of Farhold, Túron was forced to arrest and imprison his son, Ellisar, for war crimes against both Elves and humans. For almost ten years, Túron had no heir. Not until 3A-1205, when his first daughter, Tava, was born. Túron quickly made Tava his heir. He placed all his hopes of furthering the Avácsh lineage and the future the Elven Kingdom with his first daughter. Even after she joined a political group that opposed him, Túron never gave up on her.   After the birth of Túron’s youngest sons, Alasse and Dain, there was an attempted assassination on Túron’s life, and even though he survived, Túron knew that those responsible wouldn’t stop until he was dead. So that is what he did. Túron arranged for his death by poisoning and disappeared into the shadows. The only one who knew that Túron was still alive was his most trusted and loyal bodyguard, Lord General Daeron Elermiel.   Túron wandered around for sometime after his ‘death’. He became a freelance knight, helping out his people. He took the name Tadion Gwarina and avoided anyone who knew his face. About one year after his death, Túron discovered a doorway cut into the side of a cliff leading to a large chamber beneath E’la Aiqua with an enormous flame inside. It wasn’t till after he approached the flame that he was overwhelmed with memory flashes.   A ghostly image than appeared before him. A ghost, or projection of a Centaur. The Centaur told Túron that he was chosen to be the herald of time and the visions he saw was of future events to come. From that moment on, Túron devoted his life to understanding his new role.   By 3A-1233, Túron traveled to the Kingdom of Dragton to place an order for weapons and armor from the human’s best blacksmith, Jerry Hael, before returning to Iiauskana to study further on the things to come.
