Halfling

Basic Information

Anatomy

Halflings are similar to the Human but of a smaller variety. They grow in a similar fashion except for one key feature in that they are Nocturnal. Halflings have the interesting quality of occasionally having more pronounced features such as larger hands, thicker musculature structure or being abnormally tall; this is theorized to be from the interbreeding between the .

Genetics and Reproduction

Halfling reproduction is sexual internal fertilization with an internal gestation period of 9 months. Halflings have a breeding season which is the only time they can breed; although they can take a Halfling Aphrodisiac to have normal sex outside of the breeding season or make their breeding season even more interesting. The Halfling breeding season is spring and halflings give birth to 2-5 live young at a time.

Growth Rate & Stages

A Halfling grows to full maturity by age 19; traversing the Baby, Youth, Adult stages of their lives. These stages are only differentiated by the physical and mental development of the Halfling.

Ecology and Habitats

Halflings are biologically adapted to live in most, non-severely hostile, environments with a high degree of success. Most locations that Halflings inhabit are slowly adapted to their requirements.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Halflings are omnivorous creatures able to eat most plant and animal matter. Halflings farm and ranch their food sources almost exclusively; creating large stores of food to slowly utilize as needed.
