The Hermit King

"Hark all ye sinners, The Hermit King beseaches thee return to thine abodes, humbly thouself in solitude and repent.   He isolates himself from our sins, resisting the sweet temptation of company such that he might be closer to the saints; for one cannot hear them over the chatter and babble of the living.   Lo he sits apart from his silent councillors, the seven grand Hermits, first and last among their order, for even they are too loud for The Hermit King.   Parents teach your children silence such that they might know The Hermit King, for his silence extends to all things, just as the noise of all things reach him. Tell them he knows all, tell them he hears all and it sickens him."   This is just one brief quote from one of the many hermit preachers that minister to the crowds of Capital everyday. But who is The Hermit King, and how can one be a King of a bunch of people who don't want to speak to anyone, who voted for him and does he really hear all? Our Kerry Fitcher attempted to get an interview, find out more on page 12.
