Altus Wellness Center
The Altus Wellness Center is a medical center managed by mages who experiment and practice medicine. It is famous for being able to provide every type of medication.
Purpose / Function
Many different types of services are available at the wellness clinic. These services include massages, organ/tissue transplants, aromatherapy, and psychotherapy. Dental treatments are also provided. Health advice and prescriptions are given at the Altus Wellness Center.
Entries
A double-door entryway, two emergency fire exits, and a door to the garden behind the building. Each room has 0-3 windows.
Sensory & Appearance
The building's interior and exterior look modern even though the wellness center is built on a mountain. The inside of the building often smells like lavender, and occasionally smells like freshly baked bread/cookies. The rooms(except for the entrance room) have soft white lighting from ceiling lights. All the rooms are pleasantly warm. There is also light that comes through the windows in the rooms. Additionally, quiet and calming music is played though an invisible speaker in the ceiling of the waiting room.
Contents & Furnishings
The entrance room is a room that has an average-sized sofa and an ottoman. The waiting room next to it has two escalators - one that goes to the second floor, and one coming back to the first floor. In addition, a slide next to the escalators also goes from the second floor back to the first floor. The first floor's waiting room has a potted yucca plant and a small bookcase with magazines and picture books. The waiting room is very spacious and has two rounded sofas and multiple ottomans that are allowed to be moved by the visitors and patients.
Valuables
The storage room has many rare dried herbs.
Special Properties
The circular-shaped entrance room has a glass ceiling that adjusts itself to let more or less light through depending on how bright it is outside. In addition, if it is dark enough, the ceiling will be a pastel blue and have ceiling lights.
Alterations
A herb garden was added to make it easier for the mages who work there to experiment and make new and more medicine.
Architecture
White spanish outer walls and pastel blue walls on the inside walls of treatment rooms. The rooms used for overnight stays at the hospital have a specific pastel color depending on what type it is(e.g the rooms for recovering surgery patients have pastel green walls). Has a herb garden behind the building that can only be accessed by employees due to a magical barrier put around it. The first floor has eight rooms: the entrance room, the waiting room, a bathroom, two massage/aromatherapy rooms, a room with a heated pool and showers, one room for dental services and one room for check-ups/prescriptions. The second floor has one room for surgery, one for psychotherapy, one emergency room, one for radiology, and four rooms for overnight stays.
