History

Oath City was constructed by the Dreorish tribe Fakhur, as in Dreorish means Proud, in 545 BF. This Dreorish tribe was excellent swimmers, and unafraid of water unlike other Dreorish tribes. They named the city Madinat Albahr, the Ocean's city. The Tribe sent out swimmers to explore the neighboring islands and developed an efficient scouting area in case of war.   The city was still later on unexpectedly invaded by the Shinobi tribes from the north, and the city was taken. The Dreorish tribe Fakhur was wiped out. One single dreorish woman was able to escape to warn the other Dreorish tribes. Shinobis and Dreor tribes encountered in battle later on. Shinobis was able to win the battle with the help of the Dreorish warriors of tribe Mahjur. That tribe was later on discovered traitors and expelled from the dreorish community. These Dreors discovers the caves of Alkuhuf.     Madinat Albahr was one of the last refuge places for dreors during The Ten years war of Eldar and was also the last city abandoned by the Dreor tribes. At that time the dreors had learned the Valdersh way of building ships and vanished from Eldar. Madinat Albahr was destroyed completely by the Valders, who swore an oath that the Valders never would rebuild the city. Hence the name Oath City. They carved this Oath in stone outside the city of Madinat Albahr. This city was a ghost city until the Valders was gone in the name. It was rebuilt by Eldercrestarians for its strategic position in 234 AF.   The Karitorian warrior tribe Yellow Hounds successfully invaded and claimed Oath City from the Eldercrestarians 295 AF, when the Elven War was on the Emperors full attention. Unable to deal with the insult from Karitos Oath City was part of Karitos for the rest of the war. The Eldercrestarians reclaimed Oath City in 364 AF but lost it once more to Karitos in 387 AF. Oath City remain under Karitorian control for 107 years before it was finally reclaimed once more, and for the last time during Reign of Erkin II Swan. Karitos never made any more attempts to claim Oath City since Erkin II started to trade with Karitos from that particular harbor. Officially Oath City was under Eldercrestarian control but was given the right of Tribunal, giving Karitorian individuals benefits to involve in the city politics.   After First Certosian war in 536 AF the Werewolves, the last of those affected by the Wolfvenom Parasite, in Ulveis family gained their nobility and were given their seat at Oath City, who formerly only had the tribunal, in exchange for their loyalty to the Eroniumian Church. They preserved Oath City to its former glory. The werewolves were not bound by the Valders oath, history or culture but preserved the stone with the immortal text in the Noble District, the heart of the city of the former Madinat Albahr.
