The Grand Library of Sakharus

Located in the beating heart of the chanting city, lies the grand Library of Sakharus, named after the Shagafarian's corrupted god of knowledge, Sakharus. The Library was known for the amount of lost knowledge of the Ancient Helbarnese empire that it had sealed away from the world for thousands of years and the mysterious secret to the aura of flowers that were written by Sakharus traded to the Helbarnese for the mystery of Zerafyte weapons Forging. The library carries with it the shape of a dome attached with four sky-reaching pillars on each corner, with the colossal height that can be seen from the entrance of Mikalis City. The walls hugging over the content of the grand library are built from polished and refined granite and marble, Painting the Library with the color of peach yellow during the morning, dark pink during the sunset period, and whitened blue during the evening. Without guidance or prior knowledge of the Library, one unfortunate dreamer can easily be swallow deep inside the library, getting consumed by it. The Library is filled with enlarged rooms intersecting each other creating an illusion of never-ending corridor, with potential of leading one to the answer of their lust for knowledge or the possibility of leading one into the dead-end of their search, Each of these chamber serve different purposes, the most common objectives are research into uncovering the secret of the Zerafyte crystals and decode the mystery of the Aura of flowers, it is rumored that the Helbarnese Theorem of Flowers are discovered here in this library. In the center of each chamber placed an object that represents the research that the chamber conduct. Surrounded by curved walls of knowledge filled with by timeless books and embedded scrolls, creating a foundation for a second floor on top of it. the surface that holds these structures are constructed out of reinforced glass, Refined handsomely by the Mikalian supported by a layer of art embedded stones, trapping sunlight and guiding it throughout the Library,
Separating the library from the rest of the city is a large river that flows around the library. Before the construction of the library, the river was once a vast lake that has water bluer than the sky above it. However, with the help of wind generators, the Mikalean soon swelled the center of the lake with soil and sand, and soon arise an artificial island suitable as a base to build the library.
Connecting the library to the rest of the city are four bridges that also act as aqueducts that move from the lake to the rest of the cities. These four bridges ran from the Center of Mikalis City and ended at the entrance of the city. Although three of the bridges are no longer functional and the system is replaced by modern technology.

Purpose / Function

For hundreds of years , the library of Sakharus was used for the purpose of maintaining ancient books and scrolls , locking most of these valuable knowledge away from the rest of the world , however , just recently, after the alliance between the Koiga Sovereignty and the Mikalean , most of the library is currently open for the public to freely enter .
