Dimitris Gemos is an independent elven archmage and visionary who invented the Enchantment Stone without the intention on inventing anything!
He lives far away from civilization in Western Continent, close to Hollow Wood Forest.
Exercising and improving his fire magic abilities, he used various raw materials to see how many things he can burn and incinerate. His exercise methods backfired when he noticed that Magium, an uncommon raw mineral found in dwarven mines usually, didn‘t burn at all but emitted a blazing glow. Afraid to touch it, he poked the hunk of gemstone with a pole and in front of him he saw his pole burning with a magical fire that went away when being pulled back from the enchanted raw material. As a test, he used a much smaller magium stone to enchant it with the same magic he used before. The magic manifested inside the small piece of Magium attached itself to the pole like a magnet and that‘s when he was the first mage to enchant an object!

Apparel & Accessories
Dimitris wears a dark blue/purple magerobe with golden frames. Additionally he wears various enchanted rings, followed by a large golden amulet with a ruby and fire enchantment in the middle. A golden circlet with emeralds, diamonds and alteration power enchantment embraces his forehead. All of the enchanted jewelleries are crafted by himself, though his golden belt was a gift from a co-archmage.

He doesn‘t need to wear any armor or equip a weapon, but he‘s got many gemstones and enchantment stones inside a big pouch he carries on his golden belt.

Dimitris Gemos was a very gifted elf since he was a small child. He received that talent for magical abilities from his father and grandfather who were grand archmages and some of the political influencers in Western Continent. His family supported his decision to attend the arcane schools and even improve his magical abilities after graduating from the Arcane University in Saint Mortorf.

When Dimitris went to get a patent for his enchantment stones, his fellow archmages and other people looked up to him as a visionary, making life in Centurion easier with enchanted objects! Since then, mages received more respect from non-magic users worldwide.

As a young elf, he was rather seen as the nerd and bookworm of the students and some co-students picked on him and made fun of him for not being interested in girls back then.

Amazingly gifted in memorizing everything and not forgetting anything, which is why Dimitris was an ace at the arcane school and university.

Motivation
His core motivation was to become the first mage to learn all spells in the entire existence and yet also strived for more justice and equal rights for mages in Western Continent. Since he was one of the few mages who were granted freedom to go and stay whereever they wanted, he wanted this for other fellow mages as well. It took a while for Dimitris to find out that the answer to better rights for mages is through enchantment!
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Dimitris was seen as a good mentor when students asked him to teach. He did this occasionally in exchange for anything the students are willing to trade, wether it‘s food, coins, raw materials, etc.
As an outsider and having had bad experiences with a few co-students in the past, he‘s not good and confident at socializing with others.

I really like your article! You have a great eye for details that really make him come alive. The way he grins widely when he succeeds is super relatable! The translation of "Eureka" is amazing :D also, hollowood forest is such a great name as well! I'm really impressed how you managed to fill out the whole template without repeating yourself. I'm not very good at that, most of the time I end up writing things two or three times, so good job! Maybe a question of personal taste more than of style, but I feel the exclamation mark at the end of a sentence is more for when you write dialogue. I personally would not use it in a text that tells me about a person. But that's just personal taste :) What intrigues me is the spells he knows: "all the spells from the Arcane University and beyond". Is the Arcane University the highest education a mage can get? If so, where did those new spells come from? Did he discover them? Or maybe make his own spells? I'm very curious now! In general it would be a good idea to add links to other articles. For example to the Arcane University, so your reader understands if it is the best university available or maybe just a small, insignificant one. You can easily link those using the mention system of World Anvil :) You really managed to write a likeable character and made me curious to elarn more about your world! Well done!
