Valor Texts

On Lafliuton in the kingdom of Priria they have many different artifacts and mysterious items that are in the Priria Royal Archive Museum. One of the oldest and mysterious items are what is called the Valor Texts. Which is completely miss leading as it is not a scroll or book.
The Valor Texts are a set of 14 stones that are set into an armor breastplate with a protective covering. Each stone has writing on it that looks to wrap around the stone. The writing on the stones have been translated however it seems that what was written was also written in code. The Valor Texts were found hidden in a cave with several other artifacts, weapons, treasures and a few ancient scrolls. The scroll which many had hoped would give insight to this hoard was too badly damaged to read. The only thing the could be read was the word Valor. Valor was found on all of the weapons, artifacts, and on each stone in the breastplate armor. The full collection is known as the Valor Hoard.
The Valor hoard was not found however by a magiolgist or explore. It was found by a young shifter noble named Kazzar. He was going off into his first battle soon and went off to find an out of the way difficult quite place to think. As Kazzar wandered into the cave he spotted the Valor Text first before anything else. He picked it up, didn’t think it was too old because of the immaculate shape it was in. Kazzar took and wore this breastplate into this his first battle. Because he came out without injury he continued to wear it. It wasn’t until peace settled in the area that Kazzar went back to the cave. This time he explored and found the weapons, treasures and scrolls. Kazzar then reached out to his friend Prefaa, who was the royal magiolgist at the time. She followed Kazzar to the site and was astonish especially when told about the breastplate he’d been wearing in battle.
Prefaa called in a few others to help her get the Valor hoard out of the cave and it took a little to convince Kazzar to part with the breastplate. When examined the magic seemed to be woven into each part of the it. Kazzar and Prefaa along with their associates believe that the Valor Text has a magical spell on it to protect the one who wears it as long as they have Valor. This was though as it came out that the one time Kazzar was injured during battle was when he turned to run away because of the overwhelming odds.
