The Zig Zag

The Zig Zag is a pen that was created and made by a canine shifter on Owhua by the name of Kapral. He worked in the legal department for the Owhua kingdom. Kapral’s job was to document what was said during courts or other official meetings. The meetings were not the trouble it was the after, many times all the officials wanted what had been said as quickly as they could. First he requested for an apprentice was granted which allowed him to get twice done but it was still not enough. So he made another request for a magic device that would speed up the process of getting the copies out, however it was denied on grounds that it was too much money. When he had time off during a down time for the offices, he spent the time designing and creating the Zig Zag. The Zig Zag is a pen that is attached to another pen, which is called the parent pen that the writer uses. The Zig Zag will write what ever is written by the parent pen on a separate sheet of paper. The Zig Zag can be set up next to you or hidden off to the side or down below a desk or even a different room and still write what is being written. One parent pen can be tied to five Zig Zag pens, each writing a perfect copy of the parent pen. It does take a little set up and does require to change paper occasionally. Which is why it is important to use either the same size or larger of paper than the one you are using with the parent pen. This speed up Kapral and his apprentice’s copying work and when finally asked how he was doing by one of the younger officials. They immediately saw the potential in the pen for the populace.
Now you can find Zig Zag pens almost everywhere on Owhua and it starting to find its way on to Lafliuton. It is used by governments, and kingdoms alike in copying important documents. It is used by shop keepers, tradesmen and such for record keeping. Even artist, and music composers use it. Artist when when they need to make many copies of a design. Composers use it to write one score, and the copies for the musicians.
The Zig Zag has become extraordinary writing tool, and any that use it are amazed and thank Kapral for inventing it. Kapral still works for the Owhua kingdom but also get’s quite a large amount of money each year for the sell of the Zig Zag.
